Thanks for these Zappa albums Chocoreve. I have all these on CD apart from the Ruben and the Jets one, and I have them on vinyl but all reissues (stereo). It is a massive treat to hear these original mono recordings. Thanks again.

Indeed thanks again for classic Zappa in mono!

Ruben and The Jets is one CD i refuse to own since I thought Zappa fucked it up with his 80s overdubs... his reconstruction of this album was truly abominable too.

Any chance then that we'll get to hear the original mix of "Hot Rats"? Zappas remix on all the CDs is apparently vastly different from what he originally released so it would be a treat to hear that before digital technology screwed that album up!

Amazing stuff! To my ears this sound better than the CD reissue, when I put this on my iPod I noticed you have included the lyrics too! Great attention to detail.
